This commercial from Target sums up my feelings EVERY time I go in the store.

Let’s say I go in for a tube of toothpaste – there is NO way I can leave the store without buying something TOTALLY unrelated… like this hat. I don’t want this hat. I don’t think this hat would look that good on me – but for some reason, I will have a conversation like this in my head and I will buy this hat.

You know the urban legends about Vegas putting something through the vents to make you gamble more? I think they have the same marketing person at Target.

Can you go to Target and leave with nothing more than what is on your list? Is there another place that has the same effect on you?
