According to a very reliable source (my Dilbert desk calendar), the average American will eat 35,000 cookies in a lifetime.

I wonder how many cookies I have eaten in my lifetime? As a kid, we would have dedicated cookie days (making and decorating cookies, with plenty of eating in the mean time). Hubby is a great cookie maker. I am pretty good at it myself. I really like Oreos (especially the Golden Oreos) – and have eaten my share (OK – maybe not ONLY my share). If it is an average of 35K cookies – and some people don’t eat any… does that mean that people like me have eaten their share too?

This is too much to think about. I will now stop obsessing about cookies. This happen when I start concentrating on losing weight… and it has happened again. I obsess about food.

Do you obsess about food?
