My daughter never took a pacifier so this wasn’t an issue for us. (She opted to cry uncontrollably instead causing me to want the pacifier.) I have several friends who have used the Pacifier Fairy with great success. Amazon has a whole slew of books (http://www.amazon.com/Paci-Fairy-Pacifier-taken-Palina/dp/1601310234) you might check out. What better way to solve the problem than lying to our kids by making up an imaginary creature that steals their comfort items while they sleep! think of it as preparation for the many other imaginary people who sneak into your home to torment your child on your behalf

Right back atcha about good blog finds! And Oh My God… This is all great blog fodder! about the family – I have my fair share of those left behind… those stories don’t make it to the blog. If we didn’t have crazy families to make us crazy, who would be responsible for the children’s therapy? Do you really want to leave that to the school system?

You are a good Charlottesvillian to pull off apples and wine and Foxfield. I really wanted to see Wicked…seriously. Hee hee. Yes, let’s make new rules about slang, or at least self-monitor. In contrast to one item from your list, I disconnected from some family that I did know about. Your direction is better for greeting cards and happy endings. I did the yin when you did the yang. My child made me feel guilty at the dentist recently. Just when the hygienists slack up on you, your teenager goes in for the kill/drill.
