This morning is when we were scheduled to take off. Mother Nature had other plans. This is the headline we woke up to this morning.
So far, there are 9″ on the ground at the airport with an expected 18″. Atop Mt. Crumpit (overlooking Hooville), there are 16″ and counting (with an minimum expectation of TWO FEET).
Late last night we got a call saying our flight was cancelled. After being on hold for an hour, getting hung up on, then being on hold for two more hours, we have new reservations for tomorrow morning (crossing my fingers we get to take off).
There are worse places to be stranded due to “crippling winter snow”. We are here at E and Ricki’s, all cozy playing with the Bean’s birthday present a little early. Right now, the boys are making breakfast and Ricki and I are watching a Christmas movie. I wish I could go home today, but I can’t say I am heart broken we get to hang out here for another day.

Yes – will be very white here, but sunny and 55 in our home town… if we can get there. (crossing fingers)
