On Thursday evening/ Friday morning we discovered that The Bean got her very first cold from daycare (aww… her first cold…)

Things we’ve learned from this:

She HATES the bulb sucky thing that sucks snot out of her nose. While it is supposed to suck snot out and make her feel better, it actually makes her scream to level 3 instantly. It also sucks snot, so we do it anyway.

She is still a pretty happy baby, even when she is sick (WOOHOO!)

Colds are still contagious, and mommy got her very first gift from the Bean. (Again… thanks daycare. You are already teaching my child to share)

If you put the bouncy seat in the crib, she can breath better than laying on her back and she is still off the floor where Nursemaid Bubba can clean her (lick her).

Sick babies are very tired, but don’t sleep for as long. Even at night. (yawn!)

Thankfully she seems to be feeling better today. She has no fever and while she is still stuffy, she is headed to daycare. I, on the other hand still feel horrible.
